Molly Rose Resources is a 100% Aboriginal-owned and family-operated business based in Port Hedland, providing cleaning, maintenance and plant hire services across the Pilbara region.
We employ a majority local Aboriginal workforce and pride ourselves on delivering safe, professional work that reflects our care for people, place, and Country. Our team is committed to working responsibly and with a deep understanding of the local environment.
Our Story
Founded by Kerry Hayter, a proud Kariyarra man, the business began by offering cleaning and maintenance services for residential homes and public facilities. We’ve since expanded to support civil construction and mining projects through the supply of reliable plant and equipment.
This growth has been driven by our dedication to quality work, supporting local jobs, and honouring our connection to Country in everything we do.
Our Leadership
Ignatius Kerry Hayter – Director
Kerry has over 20 years’ in the mining and industrial sectors with specialist skills as a qualified electrician and belt splicer. He’s worked for leading companies including Rio Tinto and BHP, and is an experienced supervisor with licences for heavy vehicle operations and a range of high-risk work.
Now embarking on his own venture, Kerry leads the team with a strong focus on safety and quality, while generating meaningful opportunity for his family and community.

What We Do
- Cleaning & Maintenance: We provide a range of professional cleaning and maintenance services to residential housing clients, mine sites, and public facilities. With a mobile water trailer supporting high-pressure cleaning up to 4000 PSI, low pressure fire hose and wide coverage sprinklers, we can operate efficiently both in town and remote locations.
- Mobile Plant Hire: We provide essential support to mining, civil, and remote worksites across the Pilbara with reliable, well-maintained equipment available for short or long term contracts. Our assets include Solar powered LED Lighting Towers and Water Cart for dust suppression, with qualified local operators available for wet hire.
